Sorry for not updating my blog.
Was at Batam for 2weeks doing volunteery work.

First day

Was suppose to meet our lecturer at 730am at Harbourfront Center Mac.
I was early! WOOHOO~ Definitely the first to reach cause i was staying over at Rof hse the day before.
He leaves damn near to harbourfront, which is yeah my old place too.
TELOK BLANGAH RISE! LOL!
Woke up early to bath and stuff, cab down to mac.
My lugagge? SUPER HEAVY! LOL!
Was at mac at 610am. Early right?!
Ate breakfast with neighbour. Damn long never meet him up to go makan makan le la.
Rof! SUNTEC BUFFET! When go? LOL! Anticipating. MUAHAHAHAS~
Ok.. Back to topic. LOL!
Stacy got lost at the mall. =xxx Had to go searching for her.
Blur nanny indeed.

Board the ferry at... 9 plus. Ferry moved off and reach batam at.. 9plus too!
So cool right? =x One is sg time, another is batam time la.
LOL!
Well... Went to recce the orphanage after checking into the hotel.
The orphanage that Mr Rajah and Ms Nair group went is Bina Umma.
While Ms Melor and Ms Joanne group went to Khalifatula.
When i first step into Bina Umma and recce the area, my heart ache as the living condition there is so.. Speechless.
You could see sharp objects sticking out, and the beds that they slp on.
No ventilation, no fans at all!
Their lights was so dark. Especially the girls dorm. I wanted to cry but it's best not to.
And their toilets are so dark. There's even spider webs on the ceilings.
And i was so afraid that the girls dorm ceiling would fall any moment!
But teacher weren't planning to do the girl's dorm. Only the guys and the mosque. =(

Weekdays
Went to the orphanage, did painting of the walls.
Cementing to make path way and a place for them to sit and roll. As what Mr rajah said.
We became carpenters too! We build shelf! Bookshelf!
Ok, we are not experts so it wasn't as neat and straight as those cupboards we could buy in sg. =x
At least we did our best. We give it our all.
And i was so so allergic to dust that for the first whole week i kept sneezing like mad once i step in Batam. I was so afraid that my nose might drop off any moment. =S
While working i had to be fully covered, mask and sunglass and cap!
Shall post the picture up when i have the time.
You peeps will sure laugh!
The kids there are in fact all very smart. =D
Teach them how to play tic tac toe, chicken dance and etc.
I was particularly very attached to this lil child.
His name is Rendi, and he's always by my side no matter what.
Like how he shoo-ed away those kids who kept tickling me when i was working.
And he knows I need to concentrate even thou I can't communicate much with him.
They speak bahasa indonesia. And their accent is thick thick!
Like how he write small notes and give it to me.
That how happy he was when i played with him.

Facilities there
The services there is damn cheap!
Like pool or massage or ktv.
I can seriously go wee~
And can you believe that the movie ticket there cost only 3bucks and below?
WAHHHHH!!! LOL!
The food there is also damn cheap~ So good la.
Why Sg so EXP ?! SOMEMORE NOW IS GSS LEH !
AHHH~ Lazy type. LOL!

BYE~
